Let Your Yoga Dance has been described as a combination of Yoga and Zumba, but we also like to think of it as an ideal way to release tension, increase joy and deepen our connection to body, mind and spirit.
In the beginning of an LYYD class, we always begin by lubricating the joints accompanied by music that encourages us to pay attention to our breath and connecting it to our movements. Then, as we begin to increase the musical tempo, we begin experimenting with larger movements and dance around our space with an aim to expressing and releasing all of our emotions. After a full hour of laughter, creativity and play, we settle down for rest so that we may integrate our fuller heart, sensual body, and newly relaxed mind.
