A special one-hour workshop that hopefully, will be a recurring feature here at BethBierko.com. “Personalizing Your Poses: Learning How To Modify” is an opportunity for participants to learn ways to make their poses and their yoga practice perfect for their bodies.
In this yoga clinic, I’ll share tips for adjusting your practice so that it suits your needs when you come to the mat. That may mean simplifying poses you are challenged by or feel you can’t do in the usual way because of injuries or other limiting conditions. Alternatively, it could be giving you ways to make your practice more vigorous, if your body wants or needs a greater physical challenge than what is being offered in class on a given day.
Best of all, this is where you can bring your questions about poses that you may not have the chance to ask during a yoga class or when following along to a video. Sometimes simple tweaks in how you are standing or the angle of your limbs can turn the pose you loathe into the pose you love!
